Designed by Genoud and printed by Musumeci, the book accompanies the eponymous exhibition at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis\u2014the first North American retrospective dedicated to the French artist. Overshare spans five decades of Calle\u2019s artistic practice, featuring photography, video, installations, and text-based works. The volume is structured into four thematic sections\u2014The Spy, The Protagonist, The End, and The Beginning\u2014offering a fresh perspective on her most celebrated works, such as The Sleepers (1979) and Suite V\u00e9nitienne (1980), alongside lesser-known pieces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With contributions from Henriette Huldisch, Eugenie Brinkema, Aruna D\u2019Souza, and Courtenay Finn, Overshare reaffirms Sophie Calle\u2019s ability to intertwine autobiography, investigation, and conceptualism, revealing the tensions between the visible and the invisible, the spoken and the unspoken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
