The catalogue raisonné of Mario Schifano’s works: a new project by Genoud and Musumeci

Genoud and Musumeci have had a long-standing relationship with the art world, one that has allowed us over the years to produce high-quality publishing projects and connect with artists and institutions from around the globe.
The result of over fourteen years of work by the Schifano Archive, this catalogue raisonné of Mario Schifano’s (1934–1998) paintings is the first and only scholarly publication authorized by S.I.A.E. and officially recognized by both the artist’s heirs and the Archive as the definitive general catalogue of his works.
Curated by Monica De Bei Schifano and Marco Meneguzzo, the volume features more than 1,600 images and largely unpublished photographs sourced from Mario Schifano’s private archive and from the most reputable archives of the period.
The pre-press activity for the catalogue was carried our entirely by Genoud, while Musumeci handled the printing process.
This is a project that brings together scholarly rigor, editorial excellence, and a deep passion for art, one that Genoud and Musumeci are proud to share with scholars, collectors, and admirers of Mario Schifano’s work around the world.
