“Marco Glaviano. Casa Cipriani”: an exclusive collector’s edition boxed volume

Published by Skira, the book recounts over 30 years of collaboration between Cipriani and photographer Marco Glaviano.

Photography books have always been one of Genoud and Musumeci’s great passions. Over the years, we have specialised in the pre-press and high-quality printing of volumes dedicated to the work of great photographers—precious objects valued not only for their content, but also for the exceptional level of craftsmanship involved. From the selection of the finest papers to high-definition printing, from meticulous binding to the cover design, right through to the creation of the bespoke presentation box that houses each volume.

This new prestigious publication by Skira, entitled “Marco Glaviano. Casa Cipriani”, is no exception. The book features 360 photographs presented in an elegant collector’s box, celebrating more than 30 years of collaboration between Cipriani and photographer Marco Glaviano.

It brings together key works from the Cipriani collection, with an introduction by Arrigo Cipriani. One of Italy’s most renowned chefs and restaurateurs, he is best known as the owner of Harry’s Bar, one of Venice’s most iconic restaurants, founded in 1931 by his father Giuseppe and famous not only for its refined cuisine, but also as the birthplace of the Bellini cocktail.

Marco Glaviano, an Italian photographer and pioneer of digital photography, is celebrated for his iconic fashion and portrait images. He has worked with the world’s leading international magazines and photographed some of the most influential figures of his time. His elegant, timeless style is instantly recognisable and widely exhibited around the world.

Produced as a collector’s boxed edition, the volume also includes an original Fine Art print signed by Marco Glaviano: an exclusive limited edition of just 500 copies.

A work of art within a work of art—one that we at Genoud and Musumeci are truly proud to have brought to life.
